The THREAD Project will be represented at the AIAA SciTech 2026 Forum, taking place in Orlando, Florida (USA), from 12 to 16 January 2026. As part of the conference program, Prof. Filippo Maggi, coordinator of the THREAD project, will present the paper:

“Current Developments in Polymer-Based Reactive Materials for Thermite-for-Demise (T4D) Technology”

The presentation will provide an overview of the latest advances achieved within the project in the development of polymer-based reactive materials for Thermite-for-Demise (T4D) applications. The work highlights recent progress in material formulation, manufacturing approaches, and performance assessment, contributing to the development of innovative solutions for future Design for Demise strategies in the space sector.
