Researchers from Politecnico di Milano and Reactive Powder Technology will participate in the 14th International Symposium on Special Topics in Chemical Propulsion and Energetic Materials (ISICP 2025), taking place in Milan, Italy, from 4 to 7 November 2025.

The delegation will present three contributions showcasing recent advances in energetic materials and Thermite-for-Demise (T4D) technologies:

· “New High Energy Mechanical Activation 2nd Gen (NHEMA2): Scale-Up and Perspectives of the New Technique for Activated Thermite Production”, presented by Stefano Dossi and Chiara Buttironi.

· “Vat Polymerization Additive Manufacturing of Thermite Charges for Satellite Demise Applications (T4D)”, presented by Filippo Maggi.

· “Thermite-for-Demise (T4D): Manufacturing and Characterization of Sintered Thermite Pellets”, presented by Jacopo Domaschio.

These contributions highlight ongoing efforts to develop innovative energetic materials and manufacturing technologies for future aerospace and space sustainability applications, fostering collaboration between academia and industry in the field of chemical propulsion and energetic materials.
